Bobby Jindal in Albuquerque, talks education

In some ways, Louisiana is kind like New Mexico, only with more heat and humidity.
Like New Mexico, Louisiana has a large minority population and like New Mexico, Louisiana is trying to tackle low performance rates in public education.
Louisiana Gov. was in Albuquerque on Friday (Sept. 23), taking part in an event sponsored by the , a policy group out of Washington DC that tries to attract Latino voters to center-right ideals.
I spoke to Jindal this morning about why he spoke at the event and what New Mexico can learn from in Louisiana:
